Gonjaland Education Foundation
Educating Gonjaland. Transforming Lives.
Education is the most powerful change
The Savannah Region of Ghana — heartland of historic Gonjaland — has the country's lowest adult literacy rate at just 32.8%, and a multidimensional poverty rate twice the national average. We exist to change that — one child, one school, one community at a time.
Founded by sons and daughters of Gonjaland — community leaders, educators, and members of the diaspora — we work alongside communities, not from the outside. Every programme we run is community-consulted, locally led, and measured for impact.
